FAQ

Common questions, straight answers.

General

How much does a consultation cost?+
The initial consultation is completely free. We listen to your situation and tell you honestly whether we believe we can help. No obligation.
Do you charge by the hour?+
For most car accident, personal injury, and property damage cases we work on a contingency-fee basis: no fee unless we win. We only get paid a percentage when we recover compensation for you. Debt collection and other matters may use flat or hybrid fee structures, agreed in writing before work begins.
Where is your office?+
Our office is at 2312 W Olive Ave, Suite C, Burbank, California 91506. We represent clients across Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, Downtown LA, Hollywood, Los Feliz, East LA, and throughout California.
Do you speak Spanish?+
Yes. Our team speaks English, Spanish, Arabic, and Armenian. You can call or message us in any of these languages and we will respond in yours.
How quickly will you respond?+
We aim to respond to all inquiries within one business day, and same-day for urgent matters. For immediate calls, dial (747) 477-1099.

Car Accidents & Injury

What should I do right after a car accident in Los Angeles?+
First, get medical attention even if you feel fine. Adrenaline can mask serious injuries. Call the police and get a report. Take photos of the vehicles, the scene, and any visible injuries. Get the other driver's insurance and contact information. Do not admit fault or give a recorded statement to the other driver's insurance company. Then call us for a free consultation.
How much does it cost to hire a car accident lawyer?+
Nothing up front. We work on a contingency-fee basis, which means we only get paid if we recover compensation for you. The fee is a percentage of the recovery, agreed to in writing before we start. If we do not win, you owe us nothing.
How long do I have to file a personal injury claim in California?+
In most California personal injury cases the statute of limitations is two years from the date of injury. Claims against government entities have much shorter deadlines, often six months. Call us as soon as possible so deadlines do not pass.
What is my case worth?+
Case value depends on your medical expenses, lost income, the severity and permanence of your injuries, the available insurance coverage, and other factors. After reviewing the facts of your case, we give an honest evaluation. We will never promise a number we cannot deliver.
The insurance company already called me with an offer. Should I accept it?+
Talk to a lawyer first. Insurance companies almost always make their first offer well below what a case is actually worth, and accepting it usually means signing away your right to seek more later. A free consultation costs you nothing and could mean the difference between a quick lowball check and the full compensation you deserve.
Do I have to go to court?+
Most car accident cases settle before trial. We prepare every case as if it were going to court, which often produces stronger settlement offers. If a fair settlement is not available, we are ready to litigate.

Slip & Fall

What should I do after a slip and fall accident?+
Report the incident immediately, take photos of the hazard, get witness contact info, and seek medical attention. Then call us before speaking with any insurance company.
How long do I have to file a slip and fall claim in California?+
In most cases, you have two years from the date of injury to file a personal injury claim in California. Government property cases have a much shorter deadline.
What if I was partly at fault?+
California follows a comparative fault rule, meaning you can still recover compensation even if you were partially at fault. Your award may be reduced by your percentage of fault.

Dog Bites

Is the dog owner always liable in California?+
Yes. California Civil Code 3342 imposes strict liability on dog owners for bites that occur in public or while the victim is lawfully on private property. The owner cannot claim the dog had no prior history of aggression.
How long do I have to file a dog bite claim in California?+
You generally have two years from the date of the bite to file a personal injury lawsuit in California. Do not wait — evidence and witness memories fade quickly.
What compensation can I recover?+
You may be entitled to medical expenses, future medical care, lost wages, pain and suffering, emotional distress, and in some cases, scarring and disfigurement damages.
